It’s never too early to start planning, especially when it comes to buying tickets to see some of your favorites bands and live performers. San Antonio has a quite an extensive line-up of impressive musicians making their way to Texas in 2017, and all the fun begins this coming February with the annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo that brings along a long list of artists, including some of the best in the business. The remainder of the year also has a schedule of concerts that won’t disappoint. Take a look at the list, and start planning your nights to rock.

2017 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo (Multiple Artists Performing)

Also known as the San Antonio Livestock Exposition, Inc. (S.A.L.E.), the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo has “grown to one of the largest, most prestigious single events in the city of San Antonio, with over two million visitors entering the grounds each year.” With everything from professional bull riding, carnival rides, shopping, wildlife expos, BMX stunt shows, and much, much more, there’s plenty of entertainment packed into the month’s activities. Of course, it’s no surprise that some of the most highly anticipated events of the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo are always the live entertainment.

Ariana Grande: Dangerous Woman Tour

A change up from country music, multi-platinum selling and Grammy award nominated artist Ariana Grande will be coming to San Antonio in April to perform her Dangerous Woman Tour. This is Grande’s third full-length album, which is “driven by the title track, which captured No. 1 on both iTunes Overall Top Songs Chart and Top Pop Songs Chart minutes after release…[and] also debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, earning [Grande] the distinction of becoming the first artist to debut on the chart with the lead single from her first three albums.”

Bud Light’s 2017 River City Rockfest

In the fifth anniversary of the annual Bud Light River City Rockfest, British heavy metal legends, Def Leppard, will serve as the headliner for a day packed full of artists and performs from across the globe. According to the River City Rockfest website, “for the first time ever, the Memorial Day Weekend outdoor concert will feature two main stages for the biggest names in rock music, with a third stage also featuring national acts.” More than 27,800 rock fans attended last year’s festival, and attendance is only expected to rise again at this year’s 2017 event.

Guns N’ Roses: Not in this Lifetime Tour

Traveling across Europe and the United States to perform 30 stadium shows, the “resurgent Guns N’ Roses” continues to rock their 2017 tour. Lucky for San Antonians, their Not in this Lifetime Tour will conclude in the Alamodome on September 8, and there’s no doubt that the band is ready to go out with a bang.

Green Day: Revolution Radio Tour

The Grammy Award-winning and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Green Day, heads to San Antonio this September on their Revolution Radio Tour. Recently, the band’s “latest album, Revolution Radio, was released on October 7 by Reprise Records and debuted at No. 1 around the world. The album features the band’s 10th No. 1 song ‘Bang Bang’ and the Top 10 heartfelt anthem ‘Still Breathing.'”

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill: Soul 2 Soul World Tour

Country music fans rejoice, this fall Tim and Faith are headed to Texas! These two country music legends have been dominating the music scene since the early ’90s, and this year the duo is celebrating “the 10th anniversary of the record-breaking ‘Soul2Soul II’ Tour, the highest-grossing country music tour of all time, and the first time Faith Hill has toured since 2007.” San Antonio is just one stop along their 65-city journey, and Tim and Faith have stated, “We have the best fans in the world, who have been with us through our entire journey and we are so excited to celebrate with them by going back on the road and showcasing an exciting new show.”

Bruno Mars: 24K Magic World Tour 2017

Rounding off our list, we finish with Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic World Tour. This new tour “marks Mars’ first full-length tour since 2013’s hugely successful Moonshine Jungle World Tour, an international blockbuster that sold 2 million tickets worldwide across 155 sold-out dates.”
